He has published more than 20 first-author or co-first-author papers in leading journals and conferences, including Nature, Science Advances, and IEEE journals such as TRO, TMECH, TIE, RAL, TIM, and others.

As a core research member, he contributed to the development of a vascular interventional surgical robot, which has completed both human clinical trials and animal experiments.The system has been successfully transferred to industry and has obtained a Class III medical device registration certificate in China, enabling commercial sales. He also participated as a core research member in the development of an ultrasound fetal examination robot. A start-up company has been established to promote its commercialization. He has filed one European patent application and has been granted 15 Chinese invention patents.
His research has received several awards, including the Best Paper Award in Automation at IEEE ICMA, a Best Conference Paper Award Finalist at MARSS, the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the CAA, and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award from BIT.
He serves as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences in robotics, mechatronics, automation, biomedical engineering, and related fields, including TRO, TMECH, TIE, TII, TMI, RA-L, TMRB, TIM, ICRA, and IROS, among others. He has also served multiple times as Tutorial/Workshop Chair and Session Chair at international conferences.
His group plans to recruit several postdoctoral researchers, 2–3 Ph.D. students, and 4–5 master’s students in 2027. Outstanding undergraduate students are also welcome to join the group for research internships. Students with backgrounds in AI, mechanical engineering, automation, instrumentation, biomedical engineering, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
