Internet of Energy (IoE) is emerging as a new inter-disciplinary research field. The main goal is to tackle the future global warming, energy crisis and climate change challenges by exploiting state-of-the-art ICT theories and tools to address energy-related problems. In this talk, we will first introduce the key concepts and visions in IoE. We also present the scenarios inspired by Internet principles (e.g., P2P) in the energy domain for energy sharing and trading. Then, we will mainly focus on blockchain for secure and smart energy management in decentralized energy sharing scenarios. A double auction mechanism will be also explored for efficient energy balance as well as protecting users' private information.

张彦,现任挪威奥斯陆大学信息工程学院终身正教授 (Full Professor), 博士生导师。2005年毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学 (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) 获得电子电器工程博士学位。
张彦教授近期主要研究方向为下一代通信网络和绿色智能物联网等。现任IEEE Communications Magazine的副编辑; IEEE Network Magazine的编辑; IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials的编辑;IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking的编辑; IEEE Internet of Things的编辑;IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine的编辑;以及 IEEE ACCESS的副编辑。并任国内多个核心期刊编委,包括中国通信 (China Communications) ,通信与信息网络学报 (JCIN: Journal of Communications and Information Networks),及物联网学报。多次担任国际学术会议的技术委员会主席或分会主席,如IEEE GLOBECOM 2017、IEEE VTC-Spring 2017、IEEE PIMRC 2016、IEEE CloudCom 2016/2015、IEEE SmartGridComm 2015等。现担任IEEE绿色通信与计算技术委员会副主席;以及智能电网分委会主席。
